Yay, I'm a Nanny

Okay, The news is in. On Saturday February 25th Geoff And Georgi had an amazing, precious little boy. Charles Llewellyn Anderson.Georgi is doing an amazing job. Poor Charlie has had a few set backs with his health and Georgi is being a trouper. I am a very proud Nanny and David is as proud a Poppy as I.

Oh and I did get a layout done last week but didn't get around to putting it up cause I was busy thinking about my little Charlie.
This layout is of Donna and myself at Geoff & Georgi's engagement party in February 2011 at the Lord of the Isles.

The comment if you can't read it say's "Cherish the moments for they to, become memories".

The Big 4

After being slack or busy last week and not scrapping I decided to be good this week and do 3 layouts. However I got into the craft room and was tidying and started to potter and got a fourth done.
The first is a layout of David and myself.
I love this layout and put some extra love into it cause it was Valentines day. We don't do Valentines day but since I was scrapping on the day I thought I'd do a love layout.
In this layout I sewed on the 2 trims of paper at the bottom and a little around the top right hand side of the page. It was my first time sewing.
I also enjoyed cutting out the flowers and adding some paper flowers in the photo below. I used my first pin in this and it most definitely won't be the last. I hope I don't become to pin addicted.
I just love both of these photo's and liked the difference between the color photo and the B&W photo. Nice for Valentine Days.
The second is a photo of David when he got his new mulcher. Off course he got a big one. Couldn't get a regular when, however he did acknowledge that there was an even bigger on that he didn't get. Thank the Lord.
Okay, so layout 3 is also of David floating around in Kayangan Lake in the Philippines. It is so amazing there. We could not believe how many beautiful places there was there 'til we saw it with our own eyes. We had a big walk to get there, up some fairly rough cut rocks that they called steps and could not believe the end result. Truly awesome.
I didn't know what to do with this so I just got and pad of Tim Holtz Distress Ink and rubbed it over the page to give it something. It is fairly basic but I love it.
And the last layout is of our beautiful friends Philip and Mary. These are some of the photo's we took of them when we went for a drive on Easter Saturday 2011 to Marysville. We stopped at Maroondah Dam for a walk after morning tea at Healseville. You can see their love for one another in their eyes and in all they do. They are an inspiring couple. God blessed us very much the day they came for a visit to our church while they we on holidays in Lara some years ago. I hope they come back again soon.
With this I had a My Minds Eye paper pack and I thought it matched nicely. I played a little with the distress ink again and creased it up a little and smudged over it a bit.

Me Bad

Okay so I had been really good with my 52 weeks challenge until this week. Didn't go to good.
I worked Monday to Thursday for David at Lara Auto as Steve had a sore back so I had help out. Then I was busy catching up on the stuff around the house as I had been spending my spare time making my grand baby quilt to present to Georgi at the baby shower.

So as I named this post, me bad.

Layout 7 My Baby Sister

This weeks I only just did this layout this afternoon as I have spent my spare moments working on a quilt for my Grand baby who is due in 3weeks and 5 days. Yes, it is due on February 29th. That would be so cruel, only one birthday every 4 years.
Anyhow I did it on a photo of my sister Donna who is 6 years my junior. This photo was taken at Geoff and Georgi's engagement party in February 2011 at the Lord of the Ilses.
